Joyce Bowden
It is with sadness that we report the passing of Joyce on Sunday, 19th April. She was 99.
Joyce with husband Jack joined the then Caravan Club in 1967. After 3 years with the Northumberland Centre they joined the Wiltshire Centre in 1970, they attended some rallies and CLs exploring their new area.
They travelled with the caravan every year to Spain until Jack’s health began to fail. She later rejoined John and Ann Holdway as a family member of the centre attending and helping with many rallies. Her pièce de résistance was probably acting as the nun playing the piano with such gusto during the finale of the Centre Entertains version of Sister Act at a Wessex!
Her funeral took place at the West Wiltshire Crematorium on Saturday 2nd May.
